The Texas Lottery Commission requires that anyone handling and selling bingo products must be 18 years or older and have completed the Bingo Training. Bingo Workers must apply for licensing via the Texas Bingo website.
Compensation will be discussed with individual applicants during the interview process.
Operator/Manager
A Bingo Operator/Manager manages and directs the daily activities of the bingo hall for the charities of the bingo unit. Approves jackpots and payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Bingo Manager ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.
Designated Operator
A Designated Operator manages and directs the bingo session under the guidance of the Operator/Manager for the charities of the bingo unit. Approves jackpots and payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Bingo Operator ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.
Cashier
A Bingo Cashier greets guests of the bingo hall and is responsible for selling/recording the sale of bingo cards, bingo computers and pull tabs upon entry to the bingo hall. Must be a licensed Bingo Worker in the State of Texas.
$50/session - sessions are typically 2 hours
Usher/Salesperson
A Bingo Usher/Salesperson is an individual who monitors bingo players, sells bingo cards and pull-tabs, verifies winning cards and pull-tabs and/or delivers the prize money to the winners. Must be a licensed Bingo Worker in the State of Texas.
$25/session - sessions are typically 2 hours
Caller
A Bingo Caller operates the bingo ball selection device and announces the balls selected. Must be a licensed Bingo Worker in the State of Texas.
$50/session - sessions are typically 2 hours
The following positions do not require a Texas Bingo Worker License.
Concessions Manager/Cook
Manage and cook in the concession stand food truck.
Cook
Line cook for the concession stand food truck.
Cashier
Take orders, check out and call orders when ready.
